Ocean Software (Pvt) Ltd is a Sri Lanka based software
development company that was incorporated in 2003.
While we specialize in all aspects of the software
development life cycle, areas of expertise include
Business Intelligence Applications, Mobile Applications
and Business Transaction Processing Systems. Our
services range from software design, development,
project management, consultancy, training and systems
support. Ocean Software has grown steadily over
time to a mid-sized organization.
Ocean Software primarily operates in the European
market segment providing Business Intelligence solutions
to a range of business domains. There are several
working models that are tailor-made to discreet
customer needs. These arrangements range from on-shore
and off-shore models to best-shore models to suit
individual customer requirements. While the Colombo
office provides an off-shore development and support
facility, the other models provide a combination
of on-shore and off-shore arrangements. Ocean Software
also extends the same services to Sri Lankan customers.
The Colombo office is located in the heart of the
capital. The development and support centre is well
equipped with all facilities including leased lines
and VPN access to our overseas customer sites. Our
overseas office is based in
Yorkshire, UK.
While Ocean Software has excelled in providing tailor
made business solutions, our overseas customers
have realized significant cost savings without compromising
on the quality of deliverables. The time zone factor
has enabled Ocean Software to enhance its value
addition particularly with respect to support services
by being able to have business systems up and running
for start of business to our customers in the west.
